How To Get There
The Cardamoms is located in southwest Cambodia and it can be a little tricky to reach. However, the journey to 4 Rivers Floating Lodge is well worthwhile as it’s considered the most pristine wilderness area in Southeast Asia.
The distance from Phnom Penh to the lodge is 278 km and from Sihanoukville, it’s 214 km. It’s also just 20 km away from Koh Kong City.
It’s important to note that the lodge is only accessible by boat, which goes from our dock. We provide complimentary incoming and outgoing boat transfers every day.
Getting There In Your Own Vehicle
To get to 4 Rivers Floating Lodge just follow the Google Map below to our reception. Once you arrive you’ll find free and safe parking available for you to leave your vehicle.
Getting There By Plane
If you are already in Cambodia you can shorten your overland journey to 4 Rivers Floating Lodge by flying from Siem Reap or Phnom Penh into Sihanoukville International Airport.
If you are arriving from another country the closest airport to the lodge to fly into is actually Trat airport in Thailand. If you’re already in Cambodia, you can fly directly to Sihanoukville from Siem Reap or Phnom Penh.
Getting There In Your Own Boat
If you’d prefer to travel by your own boat to 4 Rivers Floating Lodge, leave from Sihanoukville and head for Koh Kong town. Contact us in advance and we can arrange for a river pilot from the resort to guide you through the Tatai River to the lodge.
Once you arrive you can moor your boat up safely to the handrails of your floating tented villa.
Getting There By Bus
There are many bus services leaving from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Koh Kong, and Kep/ Kampot. They usually leave around 6:00 am to 8:00 am. If you are starting your journey from those places, tell the bus driver to stop before Phum Daung Bridge. We’ll then pick you up at Tamap’s restaurant and drive you to 4 Rivers Floating Lodge embarking dock.
